SHIP REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
1. Ship Under Construction
List of Requirements:
Ownership of the vessel- Foreign Maritime Entity
Application for official Number, Call Sign and Provisional Certificate of Intended Registration of new building during construction at builder`s yard.
- Ship Builders letter
- Evidence of Authority
- Registration fee
- Application for Waiver of ownership (if ship owning entity is FME)

2. New Building
The below list of the documents are required to be submitted to complete the registration of a vessel. Applicants are requested to complete those pages of the application form that are relevant to the vessel being registered.
- Completed Application form (Can be downloaded from download tab)
- Letter of Authorization of delegation (must be notorized)
- Declaration of ownership (must be notarized)
- Application for safe manning certificate
- Application for Ship Radio communication License
- Application for Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR)
- Application for MLC 2006 DMLC Part 1
- *Application for LRIT Conformance Test Report
- Bill of Sale and/or Builder’s Certificate (Must be notarised)
- Copy of Certificate of Company Incorporation
- Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage (Bunker CLC) (All vessels over 1000 GT)
- Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage (CLC) (Tankers only)
- International Tonnage Certificate
- Certificate of Survey
- Ascent Navals ISM Code Document of Compliance
- Exemptions/Equivalent Arrangements certificates
- Notification of Radio Accounting Authority (AAIC)
- *Initial Inspection Report
- *Application for LRIT Conformance Test Report
3. Flag Change for Existing Vessel
The below list of the documents are required to be submitted to complete the registration of a vessel. Applicants are requested to complete those pages of the application form that are relevant to the vessel being registered.
